1966 Ford Mustang “Mustero” Pickup Conversion

Ever seen a Mustang pickup? This one started life as a 1966 Mustang coupe before being transformed into a custom “Mustero” pickup inspired by the conversions offered by a Ford dealership in Beverly Hills back in the 1960s.

And the crazy part? The seller says over 2,000 HOURS went into the build.

Under the hood is a rebuilt 302ci Windsor V8 with Edelbrock E Street aluminum heads, Performer RPM intake, and a rebuilt Holley carburetor. Power goes through a C4 3 speed automatic to the rear wheels.

The build includes a custom fabricated rear cargo bed, shortened roof, narrowed rear pillars, custom tailgate and plenty of one off fabrication.

The interior has been reupholstered in Parchment vinyl with black carpeting and woodgrain accents. The odometer shows 3,900 miles, but the mileage is not accurate and total mileage is unknown.

There is some rust visible underneath, so definitely worth looking closely at the photos and details.
